lyrics
“Oh, what a letdown.”
He sighs and shakes his head
ignoring what she said
She's gonna stick around
But she'd rather be somewhere else instead
Ignoring what he said.
Neither one acknowledges the other could be right.
And neither one apologizes, they would rather fight.
They’ll be yelling at each other every night, Every night
And they'll be screaming ‘till they see the early morning light.
What can he do about it?
What can she do about it?
"Oh what a letdown
What a shame, you complain, you're the same and you're not gonna change!"
He said, and she said.
"Why don't you get down
And explain cause I'm waiting for change out of you any day."
She said, and he said
"Oh, what a letdown."
“My misery is your personal mission!"
She angrily replies
"This isn't Oprah,
So why don't you turn off that television?”
So caught up in their lies
That neither one acknowledges the other could be right...
And neither one apologizes, they would rather fight!
They're still yelling at each other every night, Every night
And they'll be screaming till they see the morning light, the early morning light
"Oh what a letdown
What a shame, you complain, you're the same and you're not gonna change!"
He said, and she said.
"Why don't you get down
And explain cause I'm waiting for change out of you any day."
She said, and he said
"Oh, what a letdown."
Stop and think about it
Will they ever know for sure?
They don't know if they can take it
Anymore
Anymore
Anymore
So they stop and think about it
Cause they finally know for sure
And they're not gonna doubt it
Anymore
Anymore
Anymore!
"Oh what a letdown
What a shame, I complain, stay the same I don't want you to change!"
She said, and he said.
"I'm gonna get down
And explain that I’m prayin’ you’re stayin’ the same every day."
He said, and she said
"Oh, what a letdown."
An upbeat, energetic, MLP themed album by Gabriel Brown (Black Gryph0n) and Michelle Creber (Apple Bloom). If you liked IMmortal, you'll LOVE Getting Stronger! Black Gryph0n (Gabriel Brown) & Baasik (Nathanael Brown)
Flittzy's animesque 'Circles' is a very close second, but NeverLastStanding's 'Go With Me' has recurrently sprung up in my thoughts since the album's debut from the words of encouragement of our Equine friends, given in as heartfelt a manner as those found in Foozogz' works C_||_R
This album is a solid 7/10. I love the old-school music in there, but some of the songs just feel like random melodies plastered everywhere. This is the beginnings of Ponies At Dawn though, and their artists have improved massively over the years so I'm glad we still have a relic from their collection! cherriesarelit
